Package description:
Upon arrival, a representative from Costa Rica Guides and Tropical Expeditions will meet you. After passing through immigration, our representative will be waiting with a sign displaying your last name. The luggage representative can assist you with your once you are outside the airport, as only you will be authorized to handle your own luggage inside the airport.
Afterward, the representative will transfer you in private transportation to your hotel in San José.
National Theater: This tour will immerse you in the rich history and culture of Costa Rica, allowing you to experience the beauty of its museums and historical sites in San José. Our tour begins with an orientation as we head towards La Sabana Park. Next, we'll walk to the historic National Theater, completed in 1897. The theater is a masterpiece of art and architecture. After that, we'll visit one of Costa Rica's many museums.
We'll continue our tour to the University of Costa Rica, the Supreme Court, and various other points of interest. We'll make a brief stop at a craft shop, giving you some time to browse and perhaps pick up a small souvenir to take back home.
First, we'll guide you to the famous city of Alajuela, passing by the Farmer's Monument, followed by the Juan Santamaría Monument and the renowned Mango Park. On the way to the volcano, we'll stop at Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast and a tour of the coffee plantation, where you'll learn about the techniques used by experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica.
After the coffee tour, we'll continue to Poás Volcano, where you'll not only admire the impressive main crater, which features several sulfurous fumaroles, but also learn about the different ecosystems in this beautiful destination. Continuing our tour, we'll visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where we'll have lunch and take a guided hike. Upon arrival in La Paz, we'll walk along a trail that leads to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest. Within the park you'll also find the largest butterfly garden in the country, an impressive hummingbird gallery, a serpentarium, an aviary, and a frog exhibit. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in San José.

Baldi Hot Springs está situado a tan solo 91 kilómetros noroeste del San José, el Volcán Arenal es uno de los más imponentes volcanes en Costa Rica. Una erupción ocurrida en 1968 acabo con el pequeño poblado de Baldi Hot Springs. En el presente la actividad eruptiva es mínima.
En la noche mientras disfrute en Baldi Hot Springs y relájese en sus tibias aguas mientras contempla el increíble cielo estrellado sobre el volcán. Después de una espectacular cena, usted será transportado a su hotel en Arenal.

Monteverde Cloud Forest Morning Excursion to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve: A private, non-profit reserve managed by the Center for Tropical Science. The reserve is home to a wide variety of birds, insects, butterflies, and plants, making it an ideal spot for wildlife viewing.
