On this tour, we'll immerse ourselves in Costa Rica's rich history and culture, experiencing the beauty of its museums and historical sites in San José. Our tour begins with an orientation as we head towards La Sabana Park. Next, we'll walk to the historic National Theater, completed in 1897, a masterpiece of art and architecture. After that, we'll visit one of Costa Rica's many museums.

We'll continue our tour to the University of Costa Rica, the Supreme Court, and various other points of interest. We'll make a brief stop at a craft shop, giving you some time to browse and perhaps pick up a small souvenir to take home.

Poas Volcano: First, we'll guide you to the famous city of Alajuela, passing by the Farmer's Monument, followed by the Juan Santamaría Monument and the renowned Mango Park. On the way to the volcano, we'll stop at Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast and a tour of the coffee plantation, where you'll learn about the techniques used by experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica.

After the coffee tour, we'll continue to Poas Volcano, where you'll not only admire the impressive main crater, which features several sulfurous fumaroles, but also learn about the different ecosystems in this beautiful destination. Continuing the tour, we'll visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where we'll have lunch and take a hike. Upon arrival at La Paz, we'll walk along a trail that leads to a spectacular waterfall in the middle of the rainforest. Within the park you'll also find the largest butterfly garden in the country, an impressive hummingbird gallery, a serpentarium, an aviary, and a frog exhibit. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel in San José.

Transfer to the town of Arenal Volcano. Located just 91 kilometers northwest of San José, Arenal Volcano is one of the most imposing volcanoes in Costa Rica. An eruption in 1968 destroyed the small town of Baldi Hot Springs. Currently, eruptive activity is minimal.

In the evening, enjoy Baldi Hot Springs and relax in its warm waters while gazing at the incredible starry sky above the volcano. After a spectacular dinner, you will be transferred to your hotel in Arenal.

Morning excursion to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve: A private, non-profit reserve managed by the Center for Tropical Science. The reserve is home to a wide variety of birds, insects, butterflies, and plants, making it an ideal spot for wildlife viewing.

Transportation from Monteverde to San Jose and free day in San Jose.

A 45-minute local flight to Palmar Sur. Following this, a 30-minute transfer from the local airport to the reception area of ​​La Hacienda in Sierpe. Then, we'll take a scenic 90-minute boat ride along the Sierpe River, where we can enjoy the mangroves.

Upon arrival at Casa Corcovado, we'll enjoy a welcome cocktail before lunch, and there will be time to explore the nature trails and the beach before dinner.
