Costa Rica offers a unique whitewater rafting experience, as well as fascinating canopy tours through the treetops. Now you can enjoy both activities in an extraordinary combination of adventures, while discovering the wonders of Sarapiquí; a territory located in the northeast of the country, with abundant crystal-clear rivers, tropical forests, and hardworking, friendly people who inhabit and beautify the place.
Leaving San José, the tour will take you through the majestic scenery of Braulio Carrillo National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy two adventure activities: the Canopy Tour, or zip-lining, through the secondary forest with its towering trees, and after lunch, you’ll experience rafting on the Sarapiquí River.
The canopy tour lasts approximately an hour and a half. It features nine cables of varying lengths along the forest canopy, with the last cable crossing the Sarapiquí River.
After enjoying a delicious traditional lunch, we’ll continue our adventure…
Next, the rafting on the rapids offers varying levels of difficulty, ranging from Class II to Class III. With a total of 13 kilometers of unexpected rapids combined with calm and relaxing stretches, this sport makes for an unforgettable experience for bird and nature lovers.
It’s worth noting that there is an option to go horseback riding instead of rafting; this activity must be confirmed in advance when booking the tour with the agency.
A minimum of 3 passengers is required for Wednesday operations. Your reservation is not confirmed until the minimum number of passengers is met. If the requirement is met, we will send you a confirmation message.
Your credit card will not be charged until we can confirm the tour on the requested date.
