Our tour begins in the morning, crossing the mountains surrounding the Central Valley on the main highway that connects the capital with the coastal area. Once we cross the mountain range, we’ll stop for a delicious, typical Costa Rican breakfast at a restaurant on the Pacific coast, on the banks of the Tárcoles River.

On our way to the park, we’ll take the Southern Coastal Highway, enjoying beautiful views of the ocean, African palm plantations, and picturesque towns along the Pacific coast until we reach the Port of Quepos and from there continue to the National Park.

We’ll begin with a hike through the rainforest along a nature trail in the national park, eventually reaching the beach. There, you can take a swim or explore the trails, which will allow you to observe the abundant flora and fauna, including various species of monkeys, raccoons, iguanas, birds, and sloths.

If you decide to hike to Punta Catedral, don’t forget your camera; the view from there is spectacular.

After enjoying the national park, we’ll walk back to the restaurant where a delicious lunch awaits us before we begin our return journey to the city.
